Astrid Bulsink Quality Control and Quality Assurance
I was born in the Netherlands in 1965, very close to the German border, and raised in the Bollenstreek, near the "Keukenhof." After my studies in Wageningen, I moved back to the Randstad, where I lived for 30 years. I left 5 years ago to go more East again, and I am happy with our lovely, quiet place and garden. My husband and I both enjoy birds, gardening, and just being outside in nature.
I have over 30 years of working in various (bio)pharmaceutical companies, mainly in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, with training as the common thread, along with project management and automation.
Some of my accomplishments include:
• Development and implementation of a GMP training program, including registration of training and training of trainers.
• Managing a Document Control group, including EDMS implementations and an Archival and Retention Solution for paper documentation.
• Creation of quality programs, preparation for external audits, and performance of both internal and external audits.
Global Quality Automation Strategy definition, implementation, and project oversight for Laboratory Automation projects.
• Implementation of a global QA Business Process Solution for Deviations and other Quality Events, including harmonization of these processes and training in the application of Process Improvement tools and techniques.
• Creative Problem Solving, including the creation of Company Dashboards.
I speak Dutch, English, German, and Italian and can read and understand spoken Spanish and French. I'm used to working in diverse, multicultural environments, and I love it, just as I truly enjoy working with people!
